Guided Wild Alligator Hunts……..what to expect on your
“Experience of a Lifetime”.
We offer two Expedition packages:
One Day Hunt – Breakfast, Morning Line Hunt with lunch before your departure. Hunters receive gift bag with T-Shirt, hat and souvenirs.
Two Day Hunt – Arrival the evening before your hunt for a Dinner with your Guides and Lodging at our local Best Western Forest Inn. Optional lodging at our Grand Avolle camp can be requested for small groups if available. Day 1: Breakfast, Morning line hunt, lunch , Cajun cuisine at Grand Avolle Cove camp (weather permitting) and lodging. Day Two: breakfast, morning line hunt, and lunch before your departure. Hunters receive gift bag with T-Shirt, hat and souvenirs.
A Louisiana Alligator Helpers License is required. LA residents fee is $25.00, out of state hunters fee is $150.00. Upon booking our staff will assist you in obtaining a license.
We’ll take care of:
Hunters are provided all equipment needed for setting & baiting lines, and all firearms and ammunition for the hunt. We ask clients not to bring personal firearms for safety reasons unless previous permission obtained from Guide. All safety equipment provided: Safety glasses, ear protection and life preservers if needed. Memorable hunt photos included.
A pre-hunt Safety Orientation will prepare you for your morning line hunt before you head out to Harvest your Trophy gator. Once at your hunt location you will assist the guide in running the lines, harvesting the Alligator, tagging and rebating.
Lodging and meals are included in the two day hunt expedition. Our staff can assist with lodging for 1 day hunt, but price is not included in hunt.
You’ll need to take care of:
Transportation to and from Franklin, La and Hunt location. Airports are available within 1- 2 hrs from Franklin, visit our Louisiana page for more info and direct links on travel and tourism. Hunters are welcome to bring personal gear such as Go Pros, drones ect.
Expenses not included: Taxidermist, Tannery and Alligator Products. Skinning, Processing & Shipping. During your time with Acadiane’ Expeditions, Ltd. we will assist you in ordering any of the above services available. A 50% Deposit required on orders.
